Maple AI is a one-person consultancy in Orangeville, Ontario. We collect the minimum we need to reply to you and to understand how the site is used. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not send marketing email to people who did not ask for it.

When you fill in the contact form. Your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and whatever you write in the message. That is it. There are no hidden fields.
When you browse the site. Standard analytics through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, approximate location at the city level, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
We do not collect payment details through this website. Client invoicing runs separately through Stripe, which handles card data directly and never passes it to us.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Each of these holds data under its own privacy terms. We do not pass your information to anyone else, and we never sell it.
The only cookies set are the analytics cookies described above. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work normally.
Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. If you become a client, project records are kept for seven years to meet Canadian tax and business record requirements. Analytics data follows Google's standard retention period.

This is worth stating plainly, because it is the question clients actually ask. When Maple AI builds systems, we often work inside a client's own tools and data. That work is governed by the engagement agreement, not by this policy. Our standing practice is read-only access first, written approval before any system writes back, and no client data used to train anything.
The site runs over HTTPS. Credentials for client systems are held in encrypted storage and are never committed to code or shared over email. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
